Snowshoeing
Easy and charming excursions with the alpine guides along routes covered with snow immersed in the winter silence of the woods. Many trails unwind around San Martino and Passo Rolle. Here the alpine guides teach how to use snowshoes or accompany the more expert ones for excursions to the "Piani della Cavallazza” small lakes of Colbricon, Val Venegia and the Pale plateau. Paneveggio Visitor Centre
This centre is renowned for the "Foresta dei Violini” (violin forest) which is famous for the quality of its firs that were used as soundboards by lute makers since ancient times. Not far away in a large fenced-in area you can admire a group of large ungulates from a close distance.

Under the snow ... Cheese!
Afternoon visit to Villa Welsperg in Val Canali featuring a short walk, a cheese tasting at the Dairy of Primiero, a film on the alpine huts and a visit to the Visitor Centre of Villa Welsperg.

Villa Welsperg
This modern and structured Visitor Centre features a room with a large model of the park, a video room and historical hall dedicated to the dynasty of the Welsperg Counts, an aquarium room and a room hosting various naturalistic collections.

Opening times:
from Monday to Friday (9:30 am-12:30 pm.; 2:00-5:00 pm);
Sunday afternoon (2:30-5:30 pm).

Dive into the striking winter scenario of the massif Dolomites of San Martino di Castrozza and Val Canali and cross the silent woods on a large wooden horse-drawn sleigh.
